Srinagar, Aug 04 (KNS): People’s Democratic Front General Secretary and senior political leader from Pulwama Abdul Qayoom Mir has said that the centre government is showing irresponsible attitude towards the ongoing uncertain situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement, Qayoom Mir said that chaotic situation in the state where even the Governor administration is unaware has created panic among people.

He said in such an anarchic situation it was paramount and responsibility of the Centre government to clear the confusion and assure people that nothing untoward was going to happen in Kashmir.

He said the silence on part of the central government has fuelled speculations and it seems government is at the verge of assault on the people of the state.

He said that the present approach of the centre government is not political, democratic and responsible towards the people of the state, but indicates political arrogance and negligence.

He said that probity demands that prime minister should speak on the situation to end speculative and uncertain atmosphere. (KNS)
