Srinagar, May 26 (KNS): Passport applicants in Jammu & Kashmir will now know the status of their passport cases through SMS messages on their mobile handsets as Additional Director General of Police (CID) Jammu & Kashmir Saturday inaugurated SMS facility for passport applicants.
Jammu & Kashmir Police on its twitter handle said 'A.G.Mir,IPS,ADGP,CID J&K inaugurated SMS facility for applicants of Passport,Service and allied verification at CID headquarters Srinagar. With this facility applicants will be informed regarding status of their verification.....” (KNS)
