CEO Kupwara felicitates JEE Qualifier Anzar Nazir

Kupwara, Oct 31 (KNS): Days after a boy from remote village of Kupwara qualified JEE Advance and brought laurels to the village in the entire district, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kupwara along with his subordinate staff visited Sahipora village and expressed felicitaion to Anzar Nazir and family at the occasion.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), CEO Kupwara Abdul Hamid Fanie was accompanied by ZEO Langate/ Principal MH Pora, IED/CWSN Javed Ahmad Wani, veteran teacher of Kupwara Javed Abdullah and ZRP/ CRP Zone Langate visited the residence of Anzar and expressed felicitation on behalf of his district education team.

Anzar who hails from district Kupwara's Sahipora village had recently shined in JEE Advanced results.

While speaking to Kashmir News Service, CEO Kupwara congratulated Anzar and his parents for the success. "I am not here to give him anything, but this visit will encourage Anzar and other students to do something big in life. This is proud moment for all of us that Anzar has received his education from government school and shined in JEE Advanced results", he said.

Terming Anzar an "asset" for entire Kashmir, CEO said the boy made proud the whole Kashmir while getting into IIT Rorkee.

"Being an average student, I would like to tell every other student that to prepare themselves for tough challenges like Anzar contested. But you can't take challenges if having no strong will", CEO told.

He said whosoever want to achieve big thing, it hardly matters for him where he is getting education.

"In todays society there is a phobia among parents that Government school lack educational standard and infrastructure but I want to clear them that if there is a will, they is a way", he maintained.

He added that right now Government schools have qualified staff who have enough potential to guide the students to crack competitive exams.

CEO further said that this doesn’t end here, we have decided to held a function to felicitate Anzar.

Terming teaching a noble and pious profession, the officer said that if we guide students to a noble way, it will surely lead us to heaven. (KNS)
