Srinagar, Dec 27 (KNS): The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) has welcomed the timely action taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs against those involved in harassing Kashmiri shawl vendors in different parts of the country.

He said Kashmiri vendors travel across India to earn an honest livelihood by selling traditional shawls and handicrafts. CCIK said the action sends a strong message that harassment will not be tolerated and stressed the need to ensure the safety and dignity of Kashmiri traders nationwide.(KNS)
