Srinagar, Dec 19 (KNS): Former minister Syed Basharat Bukhari on Wednesday formally joined National Conference (NC) in presence of party president Dr Farooq Abdullah, vice president Omar Abdullah and other top leaders of the party.
Party president Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah welcomed Syed Basharat Bukhari into the party fold.
Bukhari as PDP candidate won 2008 and 2014 elections from Sangrama constituency of north Kashmir's Baramulla district. He was a minister in the previous PDP-BJP coilition government. (KNS)
