Baramulla, Bandipora villages reeling under darkness

Baramulla March (KNS): Residents of Kandi villages in north kashmir's baramulla district are complaining of acute.
The villages which are reeeling under darkness includes Chandoosa,Hudipora,Walaraman, Khaitangan etc.
The locals alleged that PDD officials are taking these villages for granted and are not fixing the faults in transmission, if any .
The residents said that" Authorities have completely neglected us. we are reeling under darkness and it is adding to our sufferings in present crises."
People alleged that the PDD employees are not even following the power supply schedule set by the department .
They always claim that 33000KV line is at fault and cannot do anything to fix it.
Reyaz Ahmad Gelani AEE PDD Baramulla when contacted, told KNS
"Chandoosa receiving station gets overloded due to use of heating instruments by people. It leads to frequent power cuts," he said.
Meanwhile residents of of Bonmahalla Kosumbagh, Hakabara of Sumbal Bandipora are reeling under darkness from last 25 days.
They have appealed the higher authorities to restore electricity in these villages (KNS)
