Banihal, Dec 27 (KNS): Former minister and MLA Vikar Rasool Wani today extended support to the agitating railway workers of Khari Banihal, who are demanding resolution of their issues.
As a back-up plan Congress has extended full support for immediate solution of issues.
Addressing ongoing protest Dharna of railway workers at Mandakbaas Khari, former minister and senior Congress leader Vikar Rasool Wani said that all the issues of railway workers are genuine and railway line construction companies are playing hide and seek and anti labour policies with the labour class of the area.
He said that Congress will never compromise on the interests of his people and will always remain standing with rights of agitating railway workers of Khari.
“Nobody will be allowed to do politics on the rights agitating railway workers,” Vikar added.
Vikar Rasool assured all sort of help to protesters and said that if local administration and railway authorities fail to address the demands of agitating railway workers he is ready to sit on hunger strike for providing justice to the protesting railway workers. (KNS)
