Bandipora Police Commemorates 150 Years of “Vande Mataram”; Week-Long Celebrations Begin at DPL Bandipora

Bandipora, Nov 07 (KNS) : Bandipora Police today organised a commemorative event at District Police Lines (DPL) Bandipora to mark 150 years of the patriotic song “Vande Mataram.” The event also marked the beginning of a week-long series of patriotic programmes scheduled to be held across the district from 7th to 14th November 2025.

The inaugural ceremony featured impressive performances by the Police Pipe Band and witnessed enthusiastic participation of officers and officials from Bandipora Police.

On this occasion, SSP Bandipora Ajaz Ahmad Zargar-JKPS and other Officers were present. The Police Pipe Band presented stirring patriotic tunes and renditions that resonated with the spirit of nationalism and unity, paying heartfelt tribute to the legacy of this timeless song.

The commemorative events aim to rekindle the public's patriotic spirit and reinforce the values of peace, unity, and national integrity.
