Jammu, Aug 24 (KNS): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said he was unable to visit the site of the Kishtwar cloudburst due to bad weather and a landslide blocking the road.
According to KNS, Singh said, “I wanted to go to the spot, but due to bad weather and a landslide the vehicle could not move forward.”
He informed that all those injured in the incident are recovering well at the medical college.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“I congratulate the doctors for their dedicated service in treating the injured. All are in good condition,” he said.
The Defence Minister added that he, along with Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh, will speak to the affected people through video conference from Raj Bhavan.(KNS)
