Srinagar, Aug 09 (KNS): Suspected militants on Sunday fired upon a BJP activist in central Kashmir's budgam district

He  has been identified as Abdul Hamid Najar (38) son of Jamal Najar resident of Moheindpora.

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said that he was on morning walk when militants fired upon him.

Najar has recieved bullet injuries in abdomen and has been shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment, the official said.
