Srinagar, Jan 14(KNS): Authorities today released four political leaders including PDP leader Nizamudin Bhat, Showket Ganie(NC), Altaf Ahmed Kaloo(NC), Salman Sagar(NC), Mukhtar Bandh, son of former PDP leader Muhammad Khalil Bandh.
Authorities also released the former Minister Abdul Haq Khan, Haji Abdul Rashid, Nazir Ahmed Gurezi, Muhamamd Abass Wani from house arrest.
Sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that it is part of confidence building measures being taken by central government to woo political leaders across the spectrum for meeting with ministerial team from New Delhi.
ADGP law and order Muneer Ahmad Khan confirmed release of these leaders.
It is pertinent to mention that National Conference didn’t attend the meeting with foreign envoy delegation of many countries including USA. (KNS).
