Srinagar, Apr 15 (KNS): National Conference candidate for Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi has strongly disapproved the attack on PDP president Mehbooba Mufti’s cavalcade at Khiram Bijbehara.

In a statement issued to KNS, Justice Masoodi after addressing workers meeting at Kulgam said that while anger amongst the people of Jammu and Kashmir in general and of south Kashmir in particular against death and destruction, maiming and blindings and nocturnal attacks executed by the Government headed by Mehbooba Mufti is understandable yet such anger and bitterness is to be channelized and replied by a vote against her and ensure defeat of anti people and anti Kashmir forces.

Justice Masoodi while sympathizing with people of south Kashmir for the atrocities heaped on them during Mehbooba Mufti’s rule has appealed people to maintain calm, avoid such incidents and give expression to their anger using democratic means of vote against the people responsible for massive violation of human rights.

Justice Masoodi also condemned repeated attempts of arson to damage the Khanqah Faiz Panah Tral and demanded a high level enquiry to expose those responsible for such nefarious attempts aimed to divide people. (KNS)
