Jammu, Sep 17 (KNS): Two terrorists were neutralised in a joint intelligence-based operation by the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF in the Brattal area of Udhampur district, officials said on Thursday.
The operation was launched during the intervening night of September 16 and 17, based on confirmed inputs about the presence of terrorists in the general area of Brattal, the Army's White Knight Corps said in a post on X as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).
Despite hostile weather, difficult terrain and poor visibility, troops of the White Knight Corps, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a targeted counter-terrorism operation, resulting in the neutralisation of two terrorists, it said.

The operation is still in progress, with search and surveillance operations continuing in the area. Security forces remain deployed to track and neutralise any remaining threat, officials added.
"The Knight stands vigil. The threat will be defeated," the White Knight Corps said. (KNS)
