Srinagar, May 02 (KNS): Anjuman-e-Ulema-e-Ahnaf Thursday released Ramadhan calendar, commencing from 07th of this month.

Patron of Anjuman-e-Ulema-e-Ahnaf, Moulana Akhzar Hussain said they have released the calendar for the holy month of Ramadhan today.

He also felicitated people on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan. “With the start of the holy month of Ramadan, I extend felicitations to the people of my state,” he said.

''Ramadan fast teaches us to practice piety, self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice, tolerance, justice and empathy for the less fortunate in society. Let us reflect on these lessons during the 30 days fasting period,” he said. (KNS)
