Srinagar, Dec 06 (KNS): Anjuman Shari Shian on Wednesday carried out a massive procession from Jamia Babul Ilem Oriental College Mirgund to Markazi Imambara Budgam in which students of Makatib associated with Anjuman and thousands of devotees participated.
The procession that was led by senior separatist leader and Anjuman Shari Shian president Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi was carried out to commemorate Eid-e-Milad-Un-Nabi (SAW) and the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Jaffar Sadiq (RA).
Aga Hasan paid rich tribute to Hazrat Imam Jaffar Sadiq (RA) and said that he truly followed the teachings and path of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). “His life inspires us and motivates us to follow the path of Islam,” he said.
“The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a perfect example of an honest, just, merciful, compassionate, truthful, and brave human being. Though he was a man, he was far removed from all evil characteristics and strove solely for the sake of God and His reward in the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of God,” he said.
He said Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was benevolent and a person of highest degree of character. He said that when Arabs lived in Dark Age, Muhamamd (PBUH) showed them light. “He is the Prophet of humanity who taught us the means of living. If we follow His teachings success will surely hug us we will get over all the hurdles that we come across in the world,” he said.
Aga Syed Hasan said that conspiracies are being hatched against Islam and there is a dire need for Muslims to get united and foil the plots of anti-Islamic forces.
On the occasion Molvi Tawseef Ahmed Wani of Awantipora also threw light on the teachings and life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). (KNS)
