Budgam, May 21 (KNS): Anjuman Shari Shian paid tributes to Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq, Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Abdul Gani Lone, Hawal martyrs saying we are indebted to their invaluable sacrifices.
In a statement issued to KNS, a spokesperson said that said the Kashmiri nation is indebted to the sacrifices of these great martyrs and "no one will be allowed to play with these sacrifices".
He said the best and worst times in freedom movements is natural but history is witness that the nation which remains steadfast and committed to its goal (of freedom) eventually succeeds.
He said the world cannot turn away its eyes from Kashmir issue and its people's legitimate struggle for right to self-determination for long but has to resolve it according to the wishes and aspirations of its people.
He said remembering these martyrs rejuvenates our pro-freedom spirit and strengthens our relation with martyrs saying the path of freedom is always filled with thorns and hardships.
The spokesperson condemned the house arrest of Hurriyat leadership. He said that putting Aga Syed Hasan under house detention during the holy month of Ramadan speaks volumes and it is direct interference into the religious affairs. (KNS)
