Budgam, Nov 18 (KNS): Anjuman Shari Shian organized multiple religious conferences across Kashmir Valley to commemorate the martyrdom anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Hasan (A.S).
A party statement issued to KNS said that conferences were organized at Central Imambara Budgam and Hasanabad Srinagar.
“Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi was placed under house arrest at his Budgam residence and was disallowed to participate in these conferences, a spokesman of Anjuman Shari Shian said.
He said a police party arrived at his Budgam residence and placed Aga Syed Hasan under house detention.
“Aga Sahab was scheduled to lead a religious conference but authorities disallowed him,” spokesperson said.
Yesterday, in his address at Yagipora Magam, Aga Syed Hasan threw light on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Hasan (A.S).
He said that beloved Prophet is the Prophet for whole humanity who has taught us everything that changes and shapes our life. He added that Prophet (PBUH) believed in equality and always stood against oppression and supported the victims.
Aga Hasan paid tributes to Imam Hasan (A.S) and said that for sake of Islam he suffered heavily but always stood for sacred religion.
He expressed grief over the loss of lives and properties on Line of Control and said that people on both sides are sufferers. “People have to suffer till Kashmir issue is addressed and resolved,” he said. (KNS)
