Anantnag Police Raid Three Locations in ₹55 Lakh Fraud Case

Srinagar, Aug 13 (KNS): Police in Anantnag on Wednesday raided three locations in connection with a ?55 lakh wild garlic fraud case registered under FIR No. 126/2025.

Three accused Tasaduq Hussain Dar, Abdul Gani Dar, and Mohammad Iqbal Wani are already in custody for allegedly running a fake business racket involving real estate, fruit trade, and a bogus wild garlic venture.

The case came to light after a victim complained of being cheated in a ?Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel55 lakh wild garlic deal. Police said the accused lured investors with promises of high returns and later used threats when asked for repayment.

The raids aim to collect more evidence and identify other victims or accomplices. Officials said the case is being treated as an organised financial crime and all leads are being pursued.(KNS)
