Reshi hails CM's prompt response, concern for affected youth

Jammu, Jan 22 (KNS): Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here in the legislative council announced that amnesty to second time stone pelters is under the active consideration of her government.
According to the KNS correspondent, replying to a question on the government's stand on the review of the cases of such youth against whom more than one FIRs are registered in the police stations the Chief Minister said “the government is reviewing the cases of first-time stone pelters and the engagement with the parents and families of the first stone pelters mostly youth is in progress and reassurance is being sought from them that the stone pelters if released won't take7 to violent path again.” She also said “cases of second time stone pelters is also under consideration of the government.”
Meanwhile, Yasir Rashi has hailed the prompt response from the chief minister, stating that her concern for the youth and their rehabilitation is worth to hail. Reshi told KNS that he hopes that the amnesty will prove helpful for the youth to build their lives afresh and tread path of career building with earnest efforts. (KNS)
