New Delhi, Oct 8 (KNS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a high-level security review meeting on Jammu and Kashmir in the national capital on Thursday, October 9, officials said here on Wednesday.
The Kashmir News Service (KNS), has learnt that the meeting is expected to focus on the prevailing security situation in the Union Territory and ongoing counter-terror operations.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will be attending the meeting, along with senior officials from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and the Jammu and Kashmir Police.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Top officers from the Indian Army, Border Security Force (BSF), and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will also participate in the discussions.
This high-level review is part of the Centre's continued efforts to maintain peace and ensure the safety of civilians and personnel in the region.(KNS).
