Altaf Bukhari condoles demise of Wali Mohammad Mir of Trehgam


SRINAGAR, September 21 (KNS): Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday grieved the demise of Wali Mohammad Mir, a prominent socio-political activist from Trehgam-Kupwara.
In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari described Mir as a renowned political activist of his area who during his lifetime worked tirelessly for the welfare of people in district Kupwara. “Late Mir would always be on toes for the public welfare issues till the fag end of his life. He passed after attaining an age of over 100 years and in most of his lifetime, he must have only worked for redressal of public grievances,” Bukhari added.
Apni Party president observed that the contribution of the deceased political leader especially his efforts put in for upliftment of economically underprivileged and downtrodden sections of the society shall be remembered for times to come.
“I pray to Almighty Allah to bestow eternal peace to the departed soul and give endurance to the bereaved family, friends and acquaintances of the deceased to bear this irreparable loss,” Bukhari prayed. (KNS)
