All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association Reviews Majlis-e-Asad Preparations; Zadibal to Host Thousands After Seven Years

Srinagar, July 27 (KNS) : The All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) convened a crucial preparatory meeting at Darul Jawad, Qamarwari, Srinagar to review arrangements for the upcoming Majlis-e-Asad scheduled for 7th and 8th August 2024 at Imam Bargah Zadibal and Baba Mazaar.

The meeting was chaired by AJKSA President Molvi Imran Reza Ansari and attended by key office bearers including General Secretary Abid Hussain Ansari, Vice President Irfan Ansari, Spokespersons Sheikh Zakri and Syed Taib Rizvi, District President Srinagar Haji Firdaus Mirza, District VP Munshi Bashir, Secretary Yaseen Mustafa, Joint Secretary Nisar Sultan, Youth Coordinator Arshed Sultan, district members Haji Yaqoob, Asim Gazi, Syed Altaf, and senior members Haji Qadir Mir and Yousuf Khan.

In a statement issued ,Molvi Imran Ansari said,“After seven long years, the Majlis-e-Asad is returning to Zadibal. Imam Hussain (AS) is the symbol of resistance, truth, and sacrifice and wherever his name is taken, people open their hearts and homes. We expect thousands to join in remembrance. The spiritual significance of these days is immense, and we must ensure arrangements are smooth and respectful.”

He added that a detailed program of Zakir-eens, Majlis-e-Aza, and Zuljana Sharief will be issued separately in the coming days.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

General Secretary Abid Ansari emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum and crowd management:

“Discipline must be maintained. We will deploy dedicated teams of volunteers, both boys and girls, to ensure peaceful and organized proceedings. These volunteers will guide attendees and assist in coordination throughout the two days.”

Vice President Irfan Ansari took stock of transport facilities and emphasized the need to designate adequate parking areas:

“Proper parking arrangements and uninterrupted transport availability are key to avoid bottlenecks. We are coordinating with local authorities and traffic police to streamline movement.”

Discussions also included arrangements for tent setups, microphone systems, and sound management. Special attention was paid to sanitation, clean drinking water, and on-site medical facilities. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to make the historic event spiritually enriching and logistically smooth.

The AJKSA has appealed to the community for cooperation and active participation.(KNS)
