All JK Shia Association Leads Muharram Observance in Chinabal

Srinagar July 21 (KNS) : A large crowd gathered today in Chinabal, Baramulla to commemorate the 25th of Muharram, the death anniversary of Imam Zainul Abideen (AS), through a day-long program organised by the All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) under the leadership of its President, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari.

The program began with Marsiya Khawani throughout the day, drawing mourners from across Kashmir. In the afternoon, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari delivered an emotional Majlis-e-Aza that reflected on the values of Karbala, the life of Imam Ali (AS), and the noble Sahabas of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).

Speaking to the gathering, he said, “The Sahabas of both Sunni and Shia traditions are those who walked with the Prophet (SAWW). Our lives be sacrificed for them. Those who send curses upon them, may Allah’s curse be upon such people.” He added, “We keep the Sahabas on our heads with honour. I had always suspected that some hands were behind this divisive narrative, but Allah (SWT) has exposed them. Shaitan has always existed and will remain. But so will Islam, so will Haq (truth), and so will Batil (falsehood).”

“I do not know what is in people’s hearts,” he continued, “but I pray to Allah to purify our hearts and the hearts of those with wrong intentions. May He guide all of us.”

Later in the Majlis, Molvi Imran Ansari also spoke on the hardships faced by Imam Zainul Abideen (AS) after Karbala, and the powerful role played by Bibi Zainab (SA) in the aftermath, particularly in Shaam, where she stood against oppression with courage and dignity.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Following the Majlis, the Zuljanah Sharief and Alam Sharief processions were taken out with deep reverence and sorrow, with mourners chanting slogans in remembrance of Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala.

In the evening, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari also addressed another Majlis in Kakerpora, where he spoke at length about the life and struggle of Imam Zainul Abideen (AS) after the events of Karbala, particularly how he upheld the message of truth through his prayers and patience.

The day-long programs were also attended by AJKSA General Secretary Abid Hussain Ansari and AJKSA Vice President Irfan Ansari, along with senior community members and volunteers.

In his concluding remarks, Molvi Imran Ansari thanked the people of Chinabal, the youth volunteers, and the administration for their full cooperation.

He said, “I thank the people, the volunteers of Chinabal, and especially the administration the police, the health department, PHE, and other officials, who supported us in making today’s program smooth and peaceful. May Allah accept the Azadari of all the mourners.”(KNS)
