Appeals people to observe it as ‘black day’

Srinagar, Aug 10 (KNS): Al-Umar Mujahideen, a militant outfit on Friday called for a complete shutdown on August 15, Independence Day of India and said that the day will be observed as ‘black day’ in Kashmir.
In a tele-statement issued to KNS, the outfit chief, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar said that “14 August will be observed as the freedom celebration day while as the 15 August will be observed as black day. We will also offer salute to the Pakistani flag on Aug 14.”
He said that “observing Aug 14 as black day will continue until the Indian forces leave Kashmir. Kashmir issue can only be resolved through armed struggle. We will continue to fight until the forces vacate from the occupied land of Kashmir.”
“India only knows the language of gun and they will be forced to vacate from the Valley through the barrel of the gun,” he added.
He also said that “the Kashmiri pandits who were asked to leave Kashmir by the then Governor Jagmohan, aimed to kill Muslims, won’t be allowed to return to the Valley to live in the separate colonies. Some of the Kashmiri pandits are still living in Kashmir and are living peacefully.”
“We also want to appeal the informers to step away from informing forces about the details of militants,” he added. (KNS)
