Budgam, September 03 (KNS): Amid rising flood concerns, and on the directions of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-E-Sharie Shian President Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter Secretary and PDP leader Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi Thursday visited Shalina, Tegan, and Khanihama—flood-vulnerable parts of Chadora Tehsil in Budgam district.
During his visit, Mehdi observed that the water level in the area is rising rapidly. Local residents expressed deep concern, describing the situation as devastating.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThey highlighted the urgent need for proper water management measures, including gross cutting, and reminded that the previous government had assured them of a dam, which unfortunately has not been realized.
Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi assured the affected people that such critical issues cannot be ignored. He strongly urged the Deputy Commissioner of Budgam to examine the matter promptly and take necessary action to prevent further distress to the local population.(KNS)
