Jammu, Jan 19 (KNS): The Opposition Friday morning again created an uproar over the murder of an eight year old minor girl in the Assembly immediately after the proceedings started in the House.
According to the KNS correspondent, as soon as the house started its proceedings, the opposition members raised slogans, "Ladli Beti ko Insaaf do" and amid noises the BJP members interrupted by raising the issue of border firing in Jammu areas.
Minister for Parliamentary affairs Abdul Rahman Veeri told the opposition "the murder of minor girl in Heeranagar area of Kathua district is a serious issue and a Special Investigation Team has been already constituted to probe the matter. I assure that those found guilty will be sternly punished". Opposition however was not satisfied with the reply of the minister Abdul Rahman Veeri and the government announced a magisterial probe to probe the murder. Veeri told agitating opposition members that their demands for a judicial probe and action against SP and DySP of the concerned area will be looked into. (KNS)
