Srinagar, Apr 23 (KNS): Months after Police filed an FIR against Baramulla Cooperative Bank Magam against alleged embezzlement, authorities of the bank and Police today assembled in Magam to repay the embezzled money to the account holders.
SSP Handwara Gh Jeelani Wani told KNS that this is the first time in Valley probably when the bank officials were made to repay the money to account holders from their own pockets even if a case stands registered with police.
Meanwhile locals have appreciated the efforts of police. (KNS)
