Advisor to LG Baseer khan visits Sopore, inaugurates power receiving station

Sopore October 23:(KNS) Basir Ahmed Khan, Advisor to the Governor, visited Tajar Sharif village of Sopore town in Baramulla district of North Kashmir today and inaugurated a 6.3 megawatt power receiving station.
The project has been made at the DPR cost of 354.36 lakhs and was in languishing projects.
He was accompanied by Mr. Baramulla Mr. GN itto ,ADC Sopore, Mr. Pervez Sajad of Sopore and SSP Sopore Mr. Javed Iqbal .

On the occasion, Basir Ahmad Khan congratulated the people that the power receiving station in the area would provide adequate facilities. He said that it was a long standing demand of the locals and this demand was met today and locals will get benefitted from the recieving station.
This recieving station will cater the demands of many villages including Harwan, Lattishat, and Tujar sharief.

Baseer Ahmad khan later on talked to the local delegations of the villages and assured them of all possible help and more developmental work will be done in the future.
People demanded that Tujar Tujar shareef be given a tourist shop and old age Budshah Pond be developed as well.
