Admissions Open for Degree Colleges and University of Jammu Campuses for Academic Session 2025-26

Srinagar June 15 (KNS): The Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, has officially announced the commencement of admissions for the Academic Session 2025-26. The admissions cover Four-Year Undergraduate Programs (FYUGP) and Integrated Postgraduate (IG) Programs with multiple exit options. These programs are offered at all degree colleges across J&K and at the main and off-site campuses of the University of Jammu.
Over 50 major subjects are available for students to choose from.
All aspiring candidates—whether or not they appeared for the CUET—must register on the centralized admission portal https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in between June 16 and July 7, 2025. After registration, candidates must submit their college and subject preferences between July 3 and July 9, 2025.
Seat allotment will begin on July 11, 2025, and will be carried out in multiple phases.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe allotment will be based on merit: CUET scores will be used for colleges that accepted CUET, and 10+2 scores will be used for non-CUET colleges. Leftover seats in all colleges will be filled using 10+2 merit.
To assist students, Admission Counselling and Facilitation Centres have been set up at every degree college in J&K. Students are strongly encouraged to make use of these services during form submission and while filling in their preferences to avoid any errors.
