Srinagar, Apr 16 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir State Employees Working Women Association (JK SEWWA) chairperson Abida War condemn the brutal and heinous act for Asifa and appealed to Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir to heed the dignity of women in general and in particular to state women by death penalty to the culprits.
In a statement issued to KNS, she expressed serious anguish over the increasing incidents of rape cases in the state.
“How come the soil which have strong legal protection and slogan of ‘Beti Padhav, Beti Bachao’ so strongly campaigned can scene such inhuman acts”, Abida War said.
Chairperson pays her cordial thanks to the daughter of the country Shwetambri Sharma (DSP JK Crime Branch) who was the member of investigating team for Kathua Asifa rape case.
“Salute able work done by female DSP who again proved that region and religion are not above the duty.”
