Asks modern day journalists to follow his path

Srinagar, Nov 26 (KNS): All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the death of veteran journalist O P Saraf.
The Committee as per the statement issued to KNS has asked the modern day journalists to follow the path set out by late Saraf.
In his condolence message, APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina has said that late O P Saraf was a committed journalist who always stood for principles and ideals. Raina said that late Saraf never compromised with the facts and always presented a true picture before the people.
"The three generations of Sarafs have carved out a niche in the field of journalism and it is due to this fact that they are looked upon with respect not only by other journalists but common people as well. Saraf's death has created a void in the field of journalism and it would be difficult to fill the same," said Raina.
The APSCC Chairman said that like his father late Mulk Raj Saraf, O P Saraf earned the reputation of being a fearless journalist who always stood for truth. He said that Pushp Saraf and Subash Saraf, sons of late O P Saraf are following the footsteps of their father while being in the field of journalism. (KNS)
