Budgam, Oct 12 (KNS) : As part of the ongoing election campaign for AIP candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan, former DDC Chairman of Budgam, Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi today visited Haran, Narullapora, Sangam and Soibugh, where he addressed a series of public meetings and interacted with enthusiastic supporters.

In a Statement Issued, Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of these gatherings, Inam Un Nabi expressed happiness over the growing public support and said, “I was delighted to see even senior associates from National Conference and PDP openly extending support to Er Rashid’s candidate, Nazir Ahmad Khan. According to them, Nazir Ahmad Khan is the only leader who has genuinely worked for the people of Budgam during his tenure as DDC Chairman.”

Taking a dig at the ruling dispensation, Inam Un Nabi lambasted the NC-led government for neglecting Budgam despite the overwhelming support it received in the last elections. “The NC government has completely let down the people by failing to provide even basic amenities, despite Budgam having stood with Omar Abdullah in large numbers. This neglect exposes the NC’s habitual betrayal of public trust,” he remarked.

Reiterating AIP’s commitment towards public welfare, Inam Un Nabi assured the participants that the party will not leave any stone unturned to bring holistic development to Budgam constituency. “Nazir Ahmad Khan will become the true voice of Budgam , a voice for dignity, development and justice,” he affirmed.

He urged the people to unite behind AIP’s clean and credible leadership, saying the upcoming by-polls offer a chance to send a clear message that Budgam stands for honesty, accountability and people’s empowerment.(KNS)
