AIP Condemns Govt Silence on IHPL Scam, Says Youth Demoralised as Accountability Missing

Srinagar, Nov 7 (KNS) : AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi on Saturday issued strong condemnation over the government’s continued silence on the IHPL scam, stating that the failure to act has deeply hurt local cricket players and cricket fans across Kashmir.

In a statement issued, Inam said the responsibility squarely lies on the government to thoroughly cross-check and verify organisers before permitting such large-scale events, especially when the youth are directly involved and place their hopes in these platforms. “How did such an event get clearance without proper scrutiny?Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThis is a serious lapse,” he remarked.

Inam Un Nabi questioned why no arrests have been made and why the investigation remains opaque. “This inaction sends a wrong signal and emboldens wrongdoers,” he said.

Inam added that the scam has demoralised aspiring young cricketers, whose dreams have been shattered and left cricket lovers deeply disappointed. He urged the administration to act swiftly, restore trust and ensure such failures are never repeated.(KNS)
