Handwara, May 13 (KNS) : The 77 Batallion Border Security Forces (BSF) on Eid day (Thursday) distributed various food items among orphan and needy people While following all the SOPs and health related guidelines at Nowgam area of Mawer in Handwara.

During the distribution program all the village heads (Sarpanchs & Panchs, Numbardar and other respected citizens) were present who graced the occasion.

The food items were distributed in more than 50 poor families of the area, while the invitees were also given the refreshments and sweets.

Mohit of 77 Bn BSF educated the locals over the Pandemic Corona for preventing it's spread in the area,he also shared the precautions with the all the participants and shared Do's and Dont's regarding the Covid-19 viral infection.

Sarpanch Nowgam Nayeem U rehman and Sarpach Pathwari Nazir Ahmad thanked BSF 77 Batallion for organising such program in these difficult times and said they (BSF) is always providing the helping hand to the people of the area.(KNS)
