Bandipora November 08 (KNS): Police in Bandipora received confirmation order for freezing seven bank accounts of a notorious narcotics smuggler & his family from the competent authority.
Confirmation order for the freezing of seven bank accounts having savings of Rs 9,60,759/= belonging to a narcotics smuggler namely Khursheed Ahmad Waza son of Gh Ahmad Waza resident of Bagh Bandipora & his family was received today from the Competent Authority & Administrator, SAFEM (New Delhi). All these liquid assets were acquired by the accused through the sale of illegal narcotic substances.
People are requested to cooperate with police in curbing the menace of drugs from the society. We reassure the community members that police will act tough against the criminals as per law.(KNS)
