Srinagar, June 8 (KNS): V. K. Singh, DGP-cum-Commandant General Home Guards/ Civil Defence & SDRF today chaired a Departmental Promotion Committee meeting to consider the promotions of SDRF and Home Guards personnel to their next rank.  

A statement issued to KNS reads 23 Assistant Sub-Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspectors, 7 Head Constables were promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors and 32 SG Constables were promoted to the rank of Head Constables. 

" 62 personnel have been promoted to their next rank. The Commandant General has extended congratulations the promotees and their families," it said.(KNS)
