Srinagar, Dec 20 (KNS): Three militants of LeT were killed in an encounter in Munj Marg area of Shopian district on Tuesday morning.
An official said encounter broke out in Munj Marg area today morning between militants and security forces.
He said during the encounter three militants of LeT were killed and arms and ammunition were also recovered.
Meanwhile, ADGP Kashmir said among them one militant was involved in the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit and another in the killing of a non-local labourer.
“Among 03 Killed local militants, 02 identified as Lateef Lone of #Shopian, involved in #killing of a Kashmiri Pandit Shri Purana Krishna Bhat & Umer Nazir of Anantnag, involved in killing of Till Bahadur Thapa of Nepal. 01 AK 47 rifle & 2 pistols recovered,” police tweeted. (KNS)
