Bandipora, July 2 (KNS) : A 25-year-old man lost his life in a tragic accident after the tractor he was driving reportedly plunged into a water canal in the Watrina area of Bandipora on Thursday.

 

The deceased has been identified as Yasir Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Shafi Dar, a resident of Sheikhpal Watrina in Bandipora.

 

According to sources, the tractor accidentally veered off the road and fell into the canal.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelLocals rushed to the spot, rescued the driver, and shifted him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

 

However, doctors declared Yasir Ahmad Dar brought dead on arrival.

 

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, while further details are awaited. (KNS)
