MAGAM, AUG 05 (KNS) : The 21st of Safar-ul-Muzaffar was observed with religious fervour at Malbhuchan, Magam, where a day-long Majlis-e-Hussaini was organized under the leadership of Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safvi, President of Jammu & Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian. Prominent Zakireen of the organization addressed the gathering and recited elegies commemorating the sacrifices of Karbala.
Addressing a large congregation of mourners, Hujjat-ul-Islam Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas Mosavi Al-Safvi said that true success lies in complete obedience to Almighty Allah, the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (pbuh), and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), while deviation from their teachings leads humanity towards ruin in this world and the Hereafter. He emphasized that the tragedy of Karbala is not merely a historical event but an eternal struggle between truth and falsehood, justice and oppression, and faith and materialism, offering timeless guidance to humanity.
He stated that the supreme sacrifice of Imam Hussain (AS) teaches mankind that principles and truth can never be compromised for power, wealth, or worldly interests. Karbala, he said, inspires believers to stand steadfast against oppression, remain firm upon the Divine faith, and raise their voice against every manifestation of injustice and falsehood.
Referring to the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas stressed that the protection of the people's constitutional, political, and democratic rights requires sincere, organized, and committed efforts. He expressed concern that certain political elements exploit sensitive public issues solely for electoral gains and the pursuit of power, whereas genuine leadership demands that the rights, dignity, and collective interests of the people remain the foremost priority.
He urged the youth to pursue modern scientific and contemporary education alongside religious learning, stating that only an educated, morally upright, and enlightened generation can secure a prosperous future for the community and society.

Highlighting the significance of Arbaeen, Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas said that the unparalleled sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS), Lady Zainab (SA), and the martyrs of Karbala continue to symbolize truth, justice, freedom, and human dignity for oppressed people across the world. He observed that the global Arbaeen gathering reinforces the universal values of unity, selflessness, loyalty, and resistance against tyranny.
He called upon the faithful to make the recognition of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), obedience to Imam al-Mahdi (AJTF), Islamic ethics, Muslim unity, and steadfastness in faith an integral part of their daily lives, urging them never to place worldly interests above eternal success. He concluded by praying that Almighty Allah grants the Muslim Ummah unity and wisdom, blesses humanity with lasting peace, and accepts the worship and mourning of the devotees of Imam Hussain (AS).
Following the conclusion of the Majlis-e-Aza, the traditional Zuljanah procession was taken out in which thousands of mourners participated with profound devotion, exemplary discipline, and deep reverence. Participants paid tribute to Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala through elegy recitations. The procession passed peacefully along its designated route before culminating with the mourners renewing their pledge to uphold the timeless ideals of truth, justice, and freedom embodied in the sacrifices of Karbala.
