2 injured in separate road mishaps in Handwara

Handwara, Sept 15 (KNS): Two girls were injured in separate road accidents in north Kashmir’s Handwara area of Kupwara district on Tuesday.
According to KNS, a minor girl was injured after hit by a speedy Maruti car bearing Registration Number JK09-A-7733 in Kohru Langate area of the district. Reports said the minor girl was few meters away from her residence at the time of mishap.
Soon after the accident, locals of the area moved the injured to SDH Langate where from whe was referred to DH Handwara for advanced treatment. The injured has been identified as 10-year old Rukhsana Akhtar daughterof Ashiq Hussain Bhat.
A case in this regard has been registered and investigations taken up. A police official told KNS that the driver of the vehicle fled from the spot.
In another separate incident Maruti i10 car bearing Registration Number JK09-3-3223 hit and injured an 18-year old girl in Jiggerpora area of Handwara.
The injured was identified as Ulfat Ali daughter of Ali Mohammad Dar who later on was shifted to District Hospital Handwara and according to doctors her condition is stated to be stable. (KNS)
