Anantnag, Sep 22 (KNS): The Department of AYUSH, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday celebrated the 11th Ayurveda Day at the District AYUSH Office in Anantnag, with the theme of promoting Ayurveda for a healthier tomorrow.

District AYUSH Officer Dr Mohammed Farooq Naqshbandi was the chief guest at the programme, which was attended by medical officers and other staff members of the AYUSH Department.

He also stressed the need to create greater awareness among the public about the importance and benefits of Ayurveda, which has a long-standing tradition of promoting health and well-being.

The chief guest thanked all stakeholders and participants for their cooperation in making the programme successful and emphasised the need for collective efforts to further promote AYUSH systems of medicine among the public.(KNS)
