1300 Master Trainers got training in SIE Kashmir in 2017: JD Trainings Mehboob Hussain

Srinagar, Feb 26 (KNS): Five Days Training Programme for Master Trainers in Physics concluded at SIE Kashmir Srinagar. During the valedictory function of the programme Joint Director Trainings/Principal SIE Kashmir, Mehboob Hussain was the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion he said, that main aim of these trainings is to train the participants with new techniques of modern education so that students will be benefitted with ease. He directed these Master trainers to implement these training techniques at the ground level so that students will take advantage of such trainings.
Briefing State Media Centre, SIE Kashmir, Head of the Training Institute, Mehboob Hussain said that all these Master trainers will impart the same trainings to all the teachers, masters and lecturers of different subject sunder the supervision of their respective DIETs and thus the ultimate beneficiaries of these training programmes are students in the class rooms. The main aim of these trainings is to make the teachers aware about the new innovative techniques so that they can apply those techniques in their classrooms. In a statement issued by SIE Kashmir 1300 Master trainers have been trained so far. Moreover 11500 teaching personals of Kashmir Division including Ladakh have been trained during previous academic session.
On the concluding ceremony, Head of the Physics Department, University of Kashmir, Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Malik impressed upon all the participants that these latest techniques which they have learned during the programme should be implemented in the class rooms. He said that while imparting the lessons the teachers should stress on practical method alongside the theoretical methods.
Giving details to the State Media Centre, in charge of the training programme Research Officer Natasha Mir said that Master Trainers of all the 10 Districts of Kashmir Division participated in the programme. She further added that prominent experts of Physics subject delivered their lectures in the programme and made the Master Trainers acquainted with the new and modern methods of teaching.
Alongside one more similar training programme for Chemistry subject was organized in which selected resource persons including teachers, masters and lecturers participated from all the 10 Districts of Kashmir Division. Senior Researcher Officer Bashir Ahmad Peer coordinated the programme. On the valedictory function of the training programme, senior officers of the Institute were also present. (KNS)
