People were happy to see you behind bars, no one came out for seeking your release

Srinagar, Oct 14: BJP’s Kashmir Unit on Wednesday asked Mehbooba Mufti that killing people on the name of Article 370 and saying toffee and milk remarks to Kashmir youth was that democratic.
Party’s leader and Kashmir Media Incharge, Manzoor Bhat in a statement people were happy to see Mehbooba Mufti behind the bars and no one came out for seeking release of her during the past 14 months.
“They killed people for their chair and were befooling them over the name of Article 370, saying toffee and milk remarks to Kashmir youth was that democratic, he questioned urging Mehbooba to stop such politics in J&K.
Bhat said now people have understood their minds who exploited and looted Jammu and Kashmir over the past 70 years. Both NC and PDP have done nothing on the ground rather than ruling the J&K, he said.
“During the past 14 months, people ignored them and no one was bothered to come out on roads to seek their release. They showed them their place and conveyed their resentment against such politicians,” Bhat said.
He said both NC and PDP leaders are staging now drama and are expressing fake sympathies for the people. “They exploited J&K resources on the name of Article 370 and now are trying the same formula but people are aware of such tactics,” he said.
Bhat also said now regional party leaders are singing the songs of Gupkar declaration which is now a dead document and tool to exploit people for the upcoming panchayat and ULB elections.
“They have lost their credibility, nor will people trust them anymore over their fake promises. Now they should accept the reality and stop acting like chameleons.
He it is the same frustration for power and chair but people have rejected them as they have looted JK from the past 70 years,” Bhat said.
Bhat said the family system of politics has ended and people of Jammu and Kashmir want now change. They knew tactics of both NC and PDP leaders, he said.
He said ‘Abdullah’s and other leaders have become hungry for power and looted J&K from the past 70 years to impose their family politics and agenda.
Over his China remarks, Bhat said Abddullah is changing colours and is doing cheap politics.
"First he was favouring Pakistan, the Hurriyat and now China which is having highest anti Muslim policies," he said.
Bhat said Abddullah should stop playing with emotions of Kashmiri people.
"They have nothing to sell for now and are selling China name in Kashmir rather than showing streigh path to people," he said.
Bhat added they are pushing people back to stone age rather than doing anything.(KNS)
