Snowfall damages residential, structures, cowsheds in North Kashmir

 Srinagar, Jan 14 (KNS): At least twelve houses, shops and a cowsheds was damaged in Tangmarg, Qalamabad and Hangha  areas of north Kashmir’s Kupwara on Monday due to heavy snowfall in the area.

 
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that ten houses were completely damaged in Tangmarg villages and a minor boy was also injured in the incident.
 
 
 
The house owners were identified as Mohammad Shafi Lone of Wahipora, Nasarullah Khan of Wahipora, Ghulam Mohi U Din Lone of Farezpora, Abdul Salam Wani of Tharhama, Mohammad Shafi Khan of Karhama, Ghulam Mohammad Khan of Ganiwani, Muneer Ahmad Dar of Auboora ,Bashir Ahmad Magaray of Crarn, Farooq Ahmad Pir of Gundalwash and Farooq Ahmad Pir of Chanpora .
 
Reports of damage were also received from Qalamabad where a house was damaged when the water of nearby stream entered into the house and damaged its walls. The owners of the house were identified as  Ghulam Nabi Bhat and Mohammad Maqbool bhat , a house of Mohamamd Iqbal Bhat of Hangha was also partially damaged due to snowfall.
 
The reports also said that heavy snowfall also damaged a house, two cowsheds, and a shop in Bandipora. (KNS).
