‘Private internet service providers fleece customers’

Srinagar, Feb 13 (KNS):  Corporate houses who intended to avail internet connectivity through private service providers complained of fleecing by them.
Taking to KNS, a corporate house owner said that every day these customers hike their charges according to their wishes.
He added that when he raised the issue with the officials of these internet service providers, they were not ready to listen anything.
“We have already suffered losses due to internet shutdown after August 5.  Now these service providers are harassing us. They are charging us according to their will. There is no one to regulate the charges of these companies,” he said.
When KNS contacted Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmed Khan, he said, “Aggrieved customers should file a written complaint against the company. We will take action against the company. They cannot fleece customers like this.” (KNS).
