Khursheed Alam Urges Party Workers to Strengthen Base
Srinagar, July 12 (KNS): The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held an important workers’ meeting in Islam Yerbal ward of Habba Kadal zone. The meeting was chaired by PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Alam and attended by senior leaders including Arif Laigroo, Dr. Ali Mohammad, and others.
During the meeting, Tufail Ahmad Bhat was unanimously elected as the Ward President for Islam Yerbal.
Addressing the workers, Mohammad Khursheed Alam urged party cadres to gear up for the PDP Foundation Day on 28th July, stressing the need to intensify grassroots connect and strengthen the party’s presence in Srinagar.

Laid-back governance and complete indifference to civic issues have pushed the constituency into crisis. The administration and local NC leadership have failed the people miserably,” Laigroo said, demanding urgent redressal of the problems.
Dr. Ali Mohammad also addressed the gathering, urging party workers to begin preparations for the upcoming Municipal elections. He emphasized the importance of public outreach at the group level and mobilizing support by highlighting PDP’s commitment to civic development and people’s welfare.(KNS)
