Srinagar, Nov 2 (KNS): Five days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Valley, two army soldiers have been killed in a fresh ceasefire violation in along the LoC in Gurez in Baramulla district.
“In a major cease fire violation today, Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing in Gurez sector along the LoC in J&K. Two soldiers have been killed in the firing,” a defense spokesman said.
He said that a befitting retaliation was carried out by the army. More details are awaited. (KNS)
