J&K Police Nabs Man with Fake Yatra Card at Baltal, FIR Registered


Ganderbal, July 1 (KNS): In a major step to ensure the safety and sanctity of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY-2025), Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested a person at Baltal for using a fake Yatra registration card to illegally pass through security checks.

The accused has been identified as Shivam Mittal, son of Krishan Mittal, a resident of Dwarka Puri, Jagadhri, District Yamunanagar, Haryana.

Police said the man obtained a forged Yatra card through dishonest means and tried to fool the security personnel, skipping the required verification process.

An FIR (No. 13/2025) has been registered at Police Station Sonamarg under relevant sections of law, and a full investigation is underway.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

J&K Police said they are fully committed to protecting the Yatra and will take strict legal action against anyone involved in such illegal activities.
