Srinagar, August 3 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra on sunday said that the party’s outreach drive ‘Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq’ is becoming Household name and has now reached every corner of the Union Territory, an intensifying campaign to restore statehood and legitimate rights to the people of J&K.
Talking to Media as per KNS correspondent, Karra said the Congress party’s “March to Srinagar,” “March to Jammu,” and “March to Delhi” initiatives over the past six months have had a significant impact, and a movement is visibly taking shape across the UT.
The response has been overwhelming. Our slogan ‘Our State, Our Right’ has become a household expression. From these expressions, a mass movement is emerging one that is ready to reclaim our constitutional and democratic rights,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He also said that district-wise outreach programs will be held across Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, with major events in Srinagar and Jammu. These programs, he said, are designed to unify voices from all sectors trade unions, transporters, workers in the unorganized sector, and ordinary citizens.
Calling for unity beyond political affiliations, Karra urged all political parties, organizations, and individuals to come forward in solidarity. “This is not about political gains. This is about the future of 13.6 million people. If someone wants to lead, let them go ahead we will walk behind. But no one should betray the people of J&K by remaining silent or passive,” he added.(KNS)
