Bandipora, July 7 (KNS): Five members of a family, including three children, were injured on Sunday after their Santro car (JK15-1847) skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at ChanDaji mode on the Bandipora-Gurez road.
According to KNS, the car veered off the hilly stretch after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The injured family, residents of Asham Bunpora, was immediately shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for treatment.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Hospital sources confirmed that one minor and two adults were later referred to Srinagar in critical condition for specialized care.
The incident has once again raised concerns about road safety on the Bandipora-Gurez route, known for its sharp turns and challenging terrain. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. (KNS)
